But as they obsessed to understand their customers they struggled to translate insights into actionable opportunities. Fussy (2013)

How do you know when when you’ve met “the one”? That’s the question we sought to answer with Fussy. By combining data with a unique digital experience we wanted to help people understand just how fussy they were being in the quest to find the perfect life partner. Unfortunately Tinder proved much more exciting than nerding out over the segment sizes of desirable suitors.

Yabbi (2011)

Long before Etsy, there was Yabbi. Well, kind of. This venture was on a mission to enable anyone to create their own store and sell curated products online from the comfort of their sofa. Unfortunately it turned out to be a great idea that was already well funded and well executed in the US by Etsy, founded six years earlier in 2005 🤦.
